My exhibition😊 after all that stress, staying up till all hours and all that work gone into each individual piece I can finally say it’s all complete Really pleased with my outcome! For my exhibition I decided I wanted to create a shop display, so I started of by naming my FMP brief ‘shopaholic’. As I produced more drawings and samples the more and more ideas kept following through my head. With the finally idea been a shop display. I feel like you could just add more and more things and it would never look over crowded, or to busy, so it was quite difficult to know when to stop. I wanted to keep it quite simple so just my products stood out. I think I have a great balance of it not too minimalistic or not too over crowded. I wanted all my pieces to look as real as possible, so when making them I scaled them up to the real item. I’m really pleased with my outcome because it looks realistic. It also looks fascinating to touch as each item is made differently.

Love it!! Such a great idea! Would of love to see this properly at your exhibition. Keep going with the work and good look starting uni in Sept! Enjoy the summer, deserved it after all this work! Amazing!

Giving a design I drew to Liam Gallagher for Beady Eye’s new album. Took one of the lyrics I like best from the track ‘I’m just saying’. Meant ot be a clock in the middle with the hands going round the type. Quick turn around hope he likes it, got nothing to lose! Also some promotion for Rock Transmission website - www.rocktransmission.com, check out the full album review on there.

Here’s a Lino cut I did of my logo. Ended up not using it but proud to revise Lino and get the detailing very similar to my logo and sizing. Here’s a few prints I did with it.

NMP - ‘THE CHEMIST’ COFFEE LAB - FINAL PIECES


So this is nearly all of my final pieces. I still need to to print menu and foxy bow tie and meet the chemist poster. but if i can’t get them printed I have examples of them in my sketchbook. I have done so much work for this project and spent so much time and hard work that its actually sad to let it go. I am very happy with what I have achieved for my NMP and have had great feedback and compliments for it.

When I first started first year, we all went a trip round Manchester to the art galleries and places you should know. I was in the Whitworth art gallery, had a massive graze on my chin due to freshers and hungover and a man called Ed asked to have a photograph of me. And he said when you finish we’ll ask you again, joking away about it! I didn’t think much of it and was just fun having my photograph taken in a gallery. So this is the email 3 years later to have another photograph. I remember few people having there’s done so if you want to come, details are above! Can’t wait to see the difference! I’m a changed woman ha!
